Synevyr Lake

The Synevyr Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes of Transcarpathia. Located at an altitude of 989 m above sea level, 30 kilometers from Mizhhirya, it has the depth of 10-12 m, maximum depth of 22 meters, an area of ​​about 4.5 hectares.

Town of Uzhgorod

Located at the foothills of the majestic Carpathians, this town is the capital of Zakarpattia (Transcarpathia), with a population of over 120,000. It was first mentioned in the chronicles in 903 AD. There are a lot of architectural monuments in Uzhgorod: Uzhgorodsky castle (it is known from the 11th century), Bishop’s palace (1646), Catholic church in baroque style (1762-1767), a city hall (1810). In 1930s, Czech architects created an architectural ensemble of Uzhgorod center in the form close to constructionism.

Schönborn Palace, Chynadiyevo

The hunting castle of Schönborns built in 1890 in Chynadiyevo is considered the gem of Transcarpathian monuments, one of the most beautiful buildings in Ukraine. The Palace is unique, built according to an interesting design, and it is surrounded by a large landscaped park of 19 hectares, founded in the early XIX century. In the second half of the last century it was converted into a sanatorium, and since then anyone can take a rest in the old building, walk in the beautiful park with a large pond, old and rare trees.

Narcissus Valley, Khust

The Narcissus Valley is located in the Kireshi tract near the city of Khust, at an altitude of 180-200 meters above sea level. It is the world’s largest natural array of narcissus – a rare plant listed in the Red Book.

Palanok Castle, Mukachevo

The Chynadiyevo Castle is a monument famous for medieval architecture. The castle is called Saint-Miklos in honor of the village, the construction began in the middle of the XIV century, but the castle, despite its defensive function existed for over 600 years!

Bathing in vats, Lumshory

Lumshory has the status of the mountain village, near which the tract is of the same name, which is noisy waterfall with the same title. The waterfall has its own water meadows Fleece, which is the highest meadows of the Ukrainian Carpathians, and is a complex of high alpine meadows, the height above sea level, which reaches 1479 meters and the area – 1100 hectares. It is popular with tourists to bath in a large metal vats, under which the fire burns. Capacity of tubs is 1000 liters, heated mineral water to +40 or +45 degrees Celsius. But the most unusual is the fact that traditionally tourists are bathing in the open, in spite of the season. Vats are located on the banks of the river Turichki. Because, quite comfortable after a hot mineral water plunge for contrast in river water.

In contrast to spa resorts that appeared spontaneously immediately by the mineral water streams, a place for Polyana health resort complex to be built on was thoroughly selected.
