The small town of Uman is situated in the center of Ukraine – between Kyiv and Odessa. While it does not have an extensive history or extremely unique landmarks, over half a million tourists come here every year. Why? Everyone heard about the National Dendrological Park “Sofiyivka,” an unquestioned masterpiece of the garden art and an amazing natural treasure. And almost everyone have visited it.
The main aim of this tour is to show other back of Uman. We can call this town “Little Jerusalem” because became a home to hundreds of Jewish orthodox Hasidic families and burial place of Hasidic Tzaddiq Rabbi Nachman. We can call it “Little Lviv” because it has beautiful architectural reserve “Old Uman”, which includes Roman and Greek Catholic churches and caves. Finally, we can call this town “Little Vinnytsia” because it has a unique fountain complex with laser show.
